My thoughts exactly! Thank you for suming all that up. The fact that we can't edit the credit memo once payment is posted is very underwhelming. The fact that we can no longer access those credit memos from payments and emailed directly from Quickbooks is even more underwhelming. Wondering if the way you get around this (when customer pays a whole invoice + a bit more) is to receive the payment for the exact amount of the invoice and then there after make a credit memo for the remaining credit?
