To all that are having issues trying to print checks for a bill, I feel your pain.  I've been struggling for MONTHS.  The added steps are unwarranted and QB technology should rise to correct this.  There should be an option to print check along with Schedule Payment from the Vendor/Bills page.  I finally spent over 1 hour on a chat/share screen and the assistant had NO idea what was going on. 

In order to pay an existing bill via a paper check, you have to go to +New in the upper Left, select Pay Bills - from there you should see your bills in order to print a paper check.  Hope this helps
