Thanks for following along and sharing your concerns. 

 

As my colleague, Monica, mentioned above, you can set your preferences as billable time being default in QuickBooks Online.

 

  1. Go to Payroll and click Employees.
  2. Find the employee you want, then Edit.
  3. Tap on the Billable by default checkbox.
  4. Select Save.
