The File menu is only available in QuickBooks Desktop. This is why you cannot see this option in the Online version.
I assume you need the steps to import your data in QuickBooks Online. You can accomplish this task by going to the Settings menu. Let me show you how:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
- Select Settings ⚙.
- Click Import Data.
- Select the type of information you'll be importing. This can include: Bank Data, Customers, Vendors, Ledger Accounts, Products/Services.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to map and upload your data.
