Thank you for reaching out to us about the feature you need for your banking data. I can share clarification on your concern about importing bank transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

I know how beneficial being able to bring over transactions directly from an Excel file into the program. Unfortunately, the ability to upload your credit card transactions into the register using this file type is not yet available.

 

Yes, you're right. Users will need to convert the Excel file to IIF first to upload the data successfully. To know more about IIF, as well the import limitations, check out this link: Export, import, and edit IIF files.
