Hi, @MMcClure1.

Yes! there is and I'd be happy to show you on how to print those 1096 form in QuickBooks Desktop.

To print your previous year’s 1096 form, let me guide you on how:

  1. From the File menu, choose Print Forms and then select 1099s/1096.
  2. In the 1099 wizard that opens, click Get Started.
  3. Select your 1099 vendors and choose Continue, then verify your 1099 vendor's information, again, choose Continue.
  4. Map your accounts and edit thresholds if needed, then select Continue.
  5. Review payments for exclusions and select Continue when you're done.
  6. Confirm your 1099 entries after adjustments, if correct, select Continue.
  7. In the Choose a filing method screen, select the Print 1099s button.
  8. Specify the date range for the forms then choose OK.
  9. Select all vendors you wish to print 1096 for and choose the Print 1096 button.
