For now, we can only edit the invoice and delete the product/service to correct it. I know it's been another year and understand that having the ability to edit it would make it easier to rename your products/services.

In the meantime, if you want to remove the item/service, simply replace it with the correct one by following my peer, @JamesDuanT's instructions. For reference about editing invoices, you can also check this article: Create invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Additionally, you can explore QuickBooks Online which allows you to edit the products/services entered into the system. This is a different online version that doesn't calculate self-employed taxes but I've added it as your preference as to when your business grows bigger.
