Thanks for bringing this up here in the Community space, Cstpeter7.

I want to ensure you’re able to customize invoice style seamlessly.

First, let me share a visual reference on where you can find the Custom Form Styles option in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, click Custom Form Styles.

  3. To create a new template, click the New Style button in the upper right-hand corner.
  4. Select Invoice.

  5. Go to the Design tab to edit the template name, logo, color, font, and margins. Then, go to the Content tab to customize the header, body, and footer of the invoice template.
  6. Click Done when finished.

For additional reference, you can read through this guide on how to customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts.

If you're still not seeing the option, let's try using a private browser or incognito window as an initial step to fixing this issue. This will eliminate any browser history that may cause a glitch inside QuickBooks. You can refer to the following keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If it works, close out the private window and clear the cache on the regular browser. This will remove previously-stored browsing data that might have caused the issue. Otherwise, you can try other supported browsers to help narrow down the cause of this behavior.

Once done you successfully customized your template style, you can apply the template to your invoice. I'd be happy to walk you through how:

  1. Open an invoice.
  2. Click Customize.
  3. Choose a template.
  4. Fill in the necessary information and click Save and close.

I'm leaving you some recommended resources to guide you more in managing your templates as well as your QuickBooks account:

It'll be always my pleasure to help if you have any other questions customizing invoices. Just keep me posted in the comment section down below.
