Since you've already enabled the use account numbers setting in QBDT, you can consider creating a dummy account to see if the account numbers will show in that particular account. If the issue persists, we'll proceed to perform troubleshooting. This way, we'll be able to isolate this issue by performing a Rebuild data herein QuickBooks Desktop. To begin, these are the steps:
If QuickBooks doesn't find any problems, select OK. You can keep using your company file. You don't have any data damage, If QuickBooks Finds an issue with your company file, select Rebuild Now.
If you're still having data issues after rebuilding your company file, you can consider doing the troubleshooting again. If the first rebuild took 2 hours, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop support team. This way, a representative can check and investigate to determine the root cause of your issue.
