I'll share some information about the Hierarchical View feature. The option to select a Hierarchical View is unavailable in QuickBooks Online.
You can run the Account List Report and export it to Excel as a workaround. From there, you can transfer or move the account's sequence. Here's how:
- From the Chart of Account's page, select Run Report at the top.
- In the Account List Report, tap the Export icon.
- Choose Export to Excel. Follow the rest of the steps to export.
- Once an Excel Spreadsheet is open, you can manually insert the accounts according to their hierarchy.
