This is what I have needed in QB desktop for 20 years. It would catch and help fix so many problems, like when orders are entered automatically by our online cart via web connector and unknowingly go negative because it is a wrong part number. 

I have too many items to go into physical inventory worksheet or the item list and enter each item to check quantity on hand for a specific period. 

is there any other work around to get item sold and quantity on hand on one report?
