Thanks for joining the thread, @RodenA. I'm very eager to share some workarounds so you’ll be able to merge items in QuickBooks Online.
At this time, merging inventory items is unavailable. The system only allows you to merge non-inventory, service, and bundle items. This is because it affects the Inventory/Asset accounts and have Quantity On Hand that requires accurate tracking of your data.
Let me guide you on how:
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Products and Services.
- Find the product or service that you want to merge.
- In the Action column, select Edit.
- In the Name field, enter the product or service you want to merge it with.
- Select Save and Close, then select Yes to confirm the merge.
