When you notice a change on the cost or sales price/rate, it's possible that someone updated it. You can run the Audit log report to view who made some changes on the products by following these steps:
- Go to the Gear icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
- Under Tools, click Audit log.
- Choose the User and set the Date.
- From the Event drop-down, select List.
- Look for the Edited Product or Service in the Event column.
To modify the item's cost, you can follow these steps:
- On the left panel, click Sales > Products and services.
- Find the item and click on the Edit link to see and edit the cost.
