I know how useful it is to have the option for quickly sorting line items on the invoice form for you and to other users. So, I suggest sending product feedback to our developers to make adding this feature possible. Rest assured that they are bound to improve the QuickBooks Online (QBO) features to suits our customers' needs and preferences. Please follow the steps below to send feedback:
- In your QBO account, click the Gear icon.
- Select Feedback.
- Next, enter your comments or product suggestions. Example: Have an option for quick sorting of line items by date or another column on an invoice.
- Then, select Next to submit feedback.
I also recommend visiting our QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website to track your suggestion. From there, you can also add votes to other product requests that you think might help optimize your QBO navigation.
In case you'll want to make your invoice forms more personalized to reflect your business identity, you can customize the templates you use.
