The changes you make in QuickBooks Online (QBO) are dependent on the changes you make in the integrated app you're using.
I'd suggest you contact the integrated app support to verify if it will affect the previously mapped QBO accounts if you add numbers to your chart of accounts.
Here's how to contact the Developer Support:
- Go to Apps.intuit.com.
- Type in the name of the app you're using in the search bar.
- Then go to the Contact tab or the Support tab.
