Let me help you locate the Batch actions button so you can inactivate your customer's profile in QuickBooks. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Sales.
  2. Select Customers.
  3. Check the box beside the customer's name that you want to make inactive. 
  4. Click the Batch actions drop-down list and select Make inactive.
  5. When prompted, click Yes to confirm.

Please know that if some of your customers have open balances, making them inactive will clear their data and affect your books.
