It's good to see you here again, travsirocz.

Let me share some insights about the Custom Fields option.

If you have QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced you can create and use enhanced custom fields. You can check the subscription plan you have, and you might want to upgrade to use this feature. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and click Account and settings.
  2. From the left panel, click Billing & Subscription.
  3. You'll see the plan you have.
  4. If you want to upgrade, you can click Upgrade your plan.
  5. Choose the plan and follow the onscreen instructions on how to upgrade your subscription.

You can also use this link on how you can upgrade and manage your subscription: Upgrade or downgrade your QuickBooks Online subscription.

If you have either plan already and you're unable to see the Custom fields option, it's possible that your regular browser stored too many cache files that causes unusual behavior within your account. To start, you can try creating custom fields using a private browser. Here are a few keyboard shortcuts on how to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If this works, it means that you need to clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to another browser.
