Buy nowI would agree that a project budget would be very useful in QBO, even at the most basic level. I wouldn't expect that the QBO version have project management tools because that is a whole other level of software; however, the basic budget information that is used for FY budgets could be implemented at the project level. That way it can assist with ensuring the accounting of the FY budget is up-to-date with more accurate information as revenue is being generated.
I believe, at this point, all that can be really done in QBO is to create a project estimate in the beginning, then track that against the time/expenses billed to the project. Please correct me if I am missing something. Thanks!
