Yes, you can definitely change that, bexmg

QuickBooks Online has a built-in sticky feature. You'll want to select the Save and close button on your latest transaction. This way, the program will be able to automatically set that option when you create another one.

If the issue persists, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps. There are times the accumulated cache in the browser becomes corrupted causing this unusual behavior. To isolate the issue, you can try opening your client's account in a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't save cookies and page resources. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

After that, try saving and a dummy transaction using the Save and close button. If it's you're able to set it as the default option, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This will eliminate the corrupted junk files so your browser can start over fresh. In addition, you may use other supported browsers to further isolate the issue.

I'm just a comment away if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions. Stay safe and have a great rest of the day.
