That still doesn't address the fact that you should be able to use the Deposit field/box on the Invoice.  Why even have it there if you can't use it and you have to create a negative line item on your invoice?  Ruthanne Cape Cod, there is a field above the line items to select the account for the deposit, but none of the choices are liability accounts.
