Hi @Fiddler,

I appreciate you for reaching out to us about the search bar in QuickBooks Online. I would feel the same way if the transaction isn't showing after entering the correct information.

Ideally, you should be able to search for transactions using the date and other information. Since the invoice isn't showing using the search field, I suggest performing some troubleshooting steps.

This way, we'll be able to isolate and fix the issue on your end. We can use a private browser to open your account and see if the transaction shows up.

This process allows you to access QuickBooks without using a cache, which stores data that creates browser-related issues. Please refer to these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

If the feature works fine, let's switch back to the regular browser and clear its cache. The process will help restore the default setup of the browser.

In case you're still getting the same result, I recommend using another supported web engine. By doing so, we can determine the cause of the issue.

Additionally, I recommend visiting the following article to personalize reports, like how to add a filter or columns in QuickBooks: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

You're always welcome to post any questions you have in this space. I'll be happy to help you some more with the QuickBooks features. Have a good day.
