Currently, the option to re-order the list in the Chart of Accounts is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). We can only sort the list in ascending and descending order. Here's how:
- Click Accounting from the sidebar menu.
- Choose Chart of Accounts.
- You can click the NAME, TYPE, DETAIL TYPE, CURRENCY, QUICKBOOKS BALANCE, and BANK BALANCE to sort the lists.
- Select ↓ to sort it in descending order or ↑ to sort the registers in ascending order.

- Click the Gear icon at the top.
- Choose Feedback.
- Enter your comments or product suggestions.
- Then select Next to submit feedback.
