I see the importance in keeping track of your business, @audiobrad59.

We appreciate you for taking the time in letting us know about ways to improve QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I’d like to take this opportunity to let you know we've made changes to the way the date filter in the Advanced Search works. In the past, customers were able to run a query expanding as far back as the date their QBO account created.

These type of queries have caused performance issues in the near past, so changes were necessary to ensure QBO availability and, at the same time, access to all your data.

Starting Wednesday June 16th, 2021, we have changed the way the date filter in the Advanced Search works. Rest assured, you'll still have access to all data entered into QBO. However, the date filter will limit you to look for information in two year blocks.

Thus, if your QBO subscription started in 2015, you will be able to look for information from 2015 - 2017 or 2016 - 2018, etc.

I appreciate your patience and looking forward to hearing from you if you have further feedback. Keep safe!
