I've got you covered, HCF-Bookkeeper.

We can perform some basic troubleshooting to isolate and fix the issue. Before you start, update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. This keeps your software up-to-date.

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Click the Help tab at the top menu.
  3. Select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  4. Go to the Update Now tab.
  5. Put a checkmark on the box beside Reset Update.
  6. Hit Get Updates

If the issue persists, I'd recommend running our QuickBooks Tool Hub. This tool scans your program for issues and fixes them right away. Let me show you how:

  1. Close your QuickBooks.
  2. Download our QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to finish the installation
  5. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
  6. Select the Program Problems tab.
  7. Then, click Quick Fix my Program first.

You can also check this article for more details and additional troubleshooting steps: Fix Common Problems and Errors with the QuickBooks Desktop Tool Hub.

Additionally, I encourage checking our Help articles page to learn some tips and tricks in managing your QuickBooks account. From there, you can read great articles that can guide you in completing your tasks.

I'm only a post away if you need more help in completing your other tasks in QuickBooks.  It's always my pleasure to help you out again.
