Hello there, @hdgoldie-gmail-c.

Allow me to share some details why you're getting zeroes under the specific customer that was tagged in a project when running a Statement of Activity report.

The amount that will show on the Customer column in the Statement of Activity report is for the individual sales recorded in QuickBooks Online. If you've created the transaction of the specific customer under the project, it will not show on the report individually instead it will show under the project's column.

As a workaround, you can export the report, and add the amount under the customer's name. I can share the steps on how to do that:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and search for the Statement of Activity Report.
  2. Click the Export icon and select Export to Excel.
  3. Save the file where it's easy to locate.
  4. Open the Excel file and enter the amount below the customer's name,
  5. Save the changes.

I've added some screenshots for your additional reference:

In case you want to know more about modifying your reports, you can check out this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online. This contains steps on how to track the details base on your preferences.

Moreover, you may check out this article about managing your projects in QuickBooks Online: Projects FAQ. This way you'd be able to get a financial projection of your project.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need further assistance about customizing the report or if you have other questions. I'll be always around to back you up in anything that you do in QuickBooks. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day!
