Thanks for updating this thread and sharing your barcode concern, @hallerinterstate,

 

We want to make sure our customers are able to connect their devices and apps in the program. At the moment, we do not have a complete list of working barcode scanners tha works with QuickBooks Desktop.

 

The only way we make sure that a device will work is through the following requirements:

 

  • The scanner supports EAN-13 (International Article Number, formerly European Article Number) and Code-128 barcodes
  • Your scanner produces a single carriage return at the end of the barcode.
  • It also has to detect when running the Barcode Scanner Tester
