Thanks for coming back, fastfoodkkart.

The option to automatically match a receipt scan and a bank transaction together is unavailable. Your workaround is right where we can manually upload the receipt in the transaction. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Select Add receipt.
  3. Upload an image of your receipt.

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) scans the receipt and enters the details for you. It may take a few seconds. When the upload finishes:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Look for the receipt.
  3. Select the receipt and categorize it. If you see a Needs action message, select it to review your transaction. Correct any details and select Save.

To learn more about this one, see the Record or attach expense receipts in QuickBooks Self-Employed article. You can also email images of your receipts to QuickBooks, just follow the steps and details in the Forward receipt images to QuickBooks Self-Employed article.
