Hi there, electrician1.

Welcome to QuickBooks Community and it's nice to see you posting your concern here in our forum.

The form or option to show the customer an updated estimate with the already paid amount is unavailable since the Estimate in QuickBooks Online is a non-posting entry. You'll have to convert an estimate into an invoice first so you can process payment and show the entry as accepted completely. This way, when you run an Estimate report they will appear with the already paid amount.

Here's how to run the report:

  1. Click the Reports menu on the left panel.
  2. Choose Estimates by Customer Report.
  3. Click the Customize button.
  4. Click the Change columns link. Then, make sure that you checkmark the Estimate status and Amount.
  5. Make any necessary changes or filter the other option.
  6. Hit the Run report button.
