I can see the importance of being able to send scheduled reports in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), @paulsiam. That's why I'm here to share further details about this.

Currently, we have an ongoing investigation about sending scheduled reports in QBDT. I assure you that our product engineers are actively working to have a permanent fix as soon as possible.

In the meantime, you can manually run and email the memorized report as a workaround. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Choose Memorized.
  3. Select the Memorized Report List.
  4. Type the Report name you want to pull up or locate it manually.
  5. Click the Display button.
  6. Select the E-mail button, choose either Send report as Excel or Send report as PDF.

I've attached screenshots below for your reference.

In line with this, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can add your account to the list of affected users. This ensures you're in the loop about the investigation's status and its fix. You can provide the INV-12177 to our representative as your reference. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect.

I'm also adding this article to further guide you in managing the growth of your business using QBDT: Help Articles. It includes topics about banking, reports, and taxes to name a few.

Please know that you're always welcome to comment below if you have other concerns or follow-up inquiries about managing reports and other financial data in QBDT. I'm just around to help. Take care.
