Hi there, @tom272.

Please note that some emails are sometimes meant to trick you into sharing personal information and can look real. There are a few simple ways to spot fake emails claiming to be from Intuit. First, it’s important to know that Intuit will never request personal information, such as passwords, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive details, through email.

Our emails always come from an address that ends with "@intuit.com" or "@e.intuit.com." Links in our emails will always go to a website with "intuit.com" in the address. Before clicking, make sure to preview the link to ensure it's safe.

For more details about phishing emails and how to protect yourself, check out this article: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

If you believe you’ve received a phishing email, you can report it to us using this link: Online Security Center.
