I appreciate you all for sharing this type of concern here with us in the Community. I'm here to share additional details to identify and prevent fraud calls and emails from parties asserting to be affiliated with Intuit.
Scammers send out emails to trick users into sharing personal information or download malware-infected attachments to gain unauthorized access to data sources. They also appear and claim to be associated with Intuit. Please note that Intuit emails will always come from an email address with the domain name @intuit.com. Let's make sure not to open or access any of the links that don't have that domain name.
On the other hand, I want to inform you that Intuit will only initiate contact if you request a call back from our support about an issue in QuickBooks. Also, outbound calls from a QuickBooks representative should not ask for any personal information.
