I understand what you've been experiencing when receiving online customer payments with automatic credit card surcharges. 

 

This functionality is not currently available within QBO itself. To automate adding the fee for credit card (CC) payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can consider utilizing a third-party app that integrates with QBO to enable an automatic application of processing fees for CC payments.

 

I also recommend sending feedback directly to our product engineers so they can assess your request for automation of processing fees from your customers.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
  2. Fill in your suggestions in the Feedback field.
  3. Select Next to send it.

 

Other than that, you can also consider customizing your invoice templates to personalize your invoice emails to your customers in QuickBooks Online.
