Hello there, @mowerman1.

 

Let me share information about Merchant Service Deposit not clearing in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

I recommend checking the Auto match & record settings to be turned on in your QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu and choose Record Merchant Service Deposits.
  2. Select Change your deposit settings.
  3. Check if the Auto match & record is enabled. If it's disabled, please turn on the feature to auto-match your transactions in the system.
  4. Click Save when done. 

 

Once done, payments each day QuickBooks will automatically group customer payments and record them on your chart of accounts. Then review the transactions in QBDT. Here is an article for the detailed steps: Automatically record QuickBooks Payments bank deposits in QuickBooks Desktop.
