I want to make sure this will not happen again. At Intuit, we put a lot of effort into ensuring your data is safe. I can direct you to the proper place to report this suspicious contact.
Our QuickBooks support can't see the whole account and credit card numbers. The only thing we can see is the last 4 digits of your card number since that's all it shows in our system for security purposes. Also, our representative won't provide any account information from you. They'll verify if you're the primary contact or admin of the account before performing any steps.
I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team for more information on the charges you received. Our fraud team can further investigate the callers and take action on it as soon as possible.
Here's how:
Make sure to call them within business hours to guarantee a swift response.
In addition, you can report this to our security team. Rest assured that your concerns have been heard and will be handled accordingly. This way, they can take action on it as early as possible. You can follow the steps outlined by my colleague JamesAndrewM above.
