I'm glad to see you reaching out to us about completely removing PayPal from your account. I can help you get rid of it so you can get back on track with entering the transactions manually in QuickBooks Online.

 

Sync with PayPal and Connect to PayPal are two different methods to handle your transactions in QBO. The process of how to get rid of it will depend on how you connected your PayPal account to our system.

 

For the Connect to PayPal app, here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Go to Apps, select My Apps, and find Connect to PayPal.
  3. Select the Action ▼ drop-down arrow, then select Disconnect.
  4. Complete the short questionnaire.
  5. Select Disconnect.

 

If you want to delete the account in the Banking section, please follow these steps:

 

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Banking.
  2. Click the bank account.
  3. Hit the Pencil icon to edit the account.
  4. Select Edit Account Info.
  5. Checkmark the checkbox for Disconnect this account on save.
  6. Press Save and Close.

 

Additionally, I've included a link you can use in the future if you need to remove transactions accidentally added in QuickBooks: Void or delete transactions in QuickBooks Online.
