Buy nowFirst of all I do not believe for a second that this person who called us was some scammer (someone outside Inuit), clearly they work for Intuit. It's the same foreigners we spoke with in March when we called Quickbooks tech support to find out why our payroll service stopped working. This is when they told us we had to upgrade to this much more expensive ($569.00) version of QBs. What they didn't tell us was that we would also be charged another $499.99 annual subscription on top of the regular payroll service I already pay you.
This is what the person who called Monday was telling us, that the subscription needed to be paid or we'd lose our payroll service because some payment information was missing. So when I thought we were being scammed I hung up and then logged into your CAMPS portal. Once there I could see that in March they did indeed sign us up for this $499.99 subscription? So I canceled it because it was something we never had or needed before but low and behold we can't do payroll again even though I'm still paying the Monthly $45.00 a month for your basic direct deposit payroll service. So I am confused to say the least.
What I would like is a call from someone in the U.S corporate office to call me and explain why when my Quickbooks payroll service stopped working back in March, and we called Quickbooks support we were told we had to upgrade to this more expensive version of QB AND why we have to pay this an annual fee or $499.99 a year, plus our monthly payroll fee of $35.00 to $45.00 a month just to be able to do payroll?
This is unacceptable, I've been a Quickbooks customer since 1994 when it was on 5 1/2" floppies, and I feel that all Intuit does anymore is attempts to squeeze more money out of us. We went from buying QBs Desktop every 3 years (about $250.00 to 350.00) plus $35.00 to $45.00 a month for basic payroll services, to $569.00 for this last version, (months before our current version even "expired"), which we know they don't expire, you just force us to by another version. Add to that the $499.99 a year subscription for WHAT I have no idea, plus our monthly $45.00 payroll service?
Yes, I am feeling scammed but not by someone outside Intuit, but by Intuit itself.
Please have someone call me who's first language is English.
