Hey there, @RickG.

Thank you for stopping by the Community. You've come to the right place to get help with anything QuickBooks. I see you're having trouble with QuickBooks Crashing. I've got just the thing that should help you resolve this. My first recommendation is to try running a Clean install of QuickBooks. Here's how:

Uninstall QuickBooks Desktop:

  1. On your keyboard, press Windows+R to open the Run command.
  2. Type in Control Panel and click OK.
  3. Click Programs and Features (If Control Panel is in Category View, click Uninstall a Program.)
  4. In the list of programs, select QuickBooks and click Uninstall/Change.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the process.

Rename the Installation folders:

  1. Download the QuickBooks_Clean_Install_Tool.exe file and save it to your desktop.
  2. Open QuickBooks_Clean_Install_Utility.exe.
  3. Click I Accept on the license agreement.
  4. Select your version of QuickBooks Desktop and click Continue.
  5. Click OK when you see the message "QuickBooks is now ready for a clean install, please install to the default directory."

Reinstall QuickBooks Desktop:

If you're still having issues, you may be having an issue with the company file itself. You can troubleshoot data damage by running a rebuild and a verify. I'm attaching the article for steps on how to perform these diagnostics here
