Hello TFP_Steve,

 

A year is a long time to have an on-going issue that's unresolved. While simply not using tabs is a solution you can consider, I'd love for you to be able to take advantage of this option for working with your books. I know how much it can enhance the workflow and keep you on top of things more easily.

Please feel free to try the troubleshooting outlined in this thread already or use the options to contact our support team if you're still having trouble. I'm not seeing any open tickets for our engineers about this at the moment, but I know we've had one in the past, so it may be something we need to explore again. We're here to do whatever we can to help you get on track using QuickBooks Online.
