To start, could you confirm if you are getting an error message stating: "There was an issue delivering some of your emails. Please check the mail log for more details."? If so, this message indicates that QuickBooks experienced a delivery issue with the payslip notifications, causing the emails to bounce back. The Mail Log will provide specific details about the problem.

 

Here’s what we can do to address the issue:

 

  1. Access the Mail Log page by clicking the "check the mail log" link in the warning message or navigate manually by selecting the Gear icon in the top-right corner, going to Payroll Settings, and finding the Mail Log on the left panel menu.image (23).png
  2. In the Mail Log, locate the affected email(s) and check for the detailed reason it bounced.
  3. Review the specific error provided. Common causes might include incorrect email addresses, recipient servers rejecting the message, or issues with mail delivery.image (22).png

 

If the email address is incorrect, update it in the employee's profile and resend the payslip notification. If the server is rejecting the email, ask the employee to ensure their inbox can accept emails from QuickBooks.

 

After resolving the issue, you can resend the payslip, and the notification should go through properly.
