Let me guide you on how to reactivate terminated employee in your QuickBooks Online Payroll account. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2. Click Active Employees button and select All Employees.
  3. Locate the terminated employee and select it.
  4. Click on the Re-Activate Employee.
  5. Click on Activate button.

That's it! You've now reactivated the employee and it should now show in your active employee list.
