What you need to learn is how to (ab)use the reports in QB. Our revenue authority has an upload file in which you can add your csv files. The fields in reports can hardly be added or removed, but you can store different data in those fields.

In my case, the tax number of the suppliers, I copied it to the address field, which I can get in the report. Being local supply or import, I placed in fax-number, etc. etc.

My monthly VAT-returns now take just about 30 minutes.

What totally bores me is the slow way I can do my  building of assemblies. I got all recipes as builds, its a simple 2 click process, each build takes about 45 seconds to be recorded, 43 is the software, 2 is me clicking....
