Welcome to this thread, Jeff19561.

Let's go to the Company menu or log in to your Intuit Account User Management to change the primary administrator. I'm here to help and guide you on how to get there.

  1. Sign in to  Intuit Account User Management from a web browser or open your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and go to the Company menu to select Users and choose Intuit Account User Management.
  2. Select the company file you’d like to transfer, then select Continue.
  3. In the Users tab, select the current primary admin and choose Change primary admin from the Action column.
  4. From the drop-down, choose which user to transfer the primary admin role. If the user isn’t listed, you’ll have to add them to the account.
  5. Tick the box to verify you’ll become secondary admin and choose Verify.

Next, inform the new admin to check their mail and look for the invitation. They'll have to select Accept Invite and sign in using their Intuit account credentials.

For more in-depth information into this process, you can read through this article: Transfer the primary admin role in QuickBooks Desktop. It includes instructions on how to accept the primary admin invitation, transfer the admin role without their Intuit account credentials, and change the email address linked with your Intuit account.

Additionally, these resources will guide you on how to manage users in QBDT and create a QuickBooks administrator.

Reach out to me again if you have additional questions about managing users or permissions in QuickBooks. I'll be glad to lend a helping hand. Have a great day ahead.
