To get rid of error code 557, you need to update your QuickBooks Desktop to its latest release. This way, you’ll have uninterrupted access to the program’s features and services.
Here’s how:
- Open your QuickBooks account.
- Select the Help menu, then choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Go to the Options tab.
- Select Mark All and then press Save.
- Click the Update Now tab and select the Reset Update checkbox.
- Press Get Updates.
