We'll need to make sure you're using Internet Explorer 11 as your browser in QuickBooks Desktop 2020 (latest version). If you need to upgrade Internet Explorer, just follow the steps below: 

  1. Close QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Follow the steps for your Windows operating system to upgrade to Internet Explorer 11.
  3. Reopen QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Then, set Internet Explorer 11.0 as your default web browser. Here's how: 

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner (or click Tools).
  3. Tap Internet Options.
  4. Hit the Programs tab.
  5. Under Default Web Browser click the Make Default button.
  6. Press OK.
