I understand you need to be able to file the 1099-NEC forms since it’s time for tax filing. We need to make sure first, you have the latest release version of your QuickBooks Desktop. Press the F2 button on your keyboard to see the details. Below are the releases required to print 1099 NEC forms in QuickBooks Desktop Windows: 

 

  • 2022 - R3_71 (or later)
  • 2021 - R8_62 (or later)
  • 2020 - RR13_39 (or later)
  • 2019 - R16_55 (or later)

 

QuickBooks Desktop for Mac: 

 

  • 2022 - R4 (or later)
  • 2021 - R8 (or later)
  • 2020 - update coming soon
  • 2019 - update coming soon

  2. Click Contact Us.
