Thank you.  I went to the link and downloaded Explorer again.  It did not open right up and I had to hunt for it but I was finally able to get it to open.  Eureka, QB Desktop loaded and opened without issue.  I have temporarily halted Windows updates as I fear that they will try to remove Explorer (again).  This should allow me enough time to close out my 2021 books... and then look for a better accounting software program that doesn't rely on antiquated software.
