Update to my post... I spoke with the developer team yesterday and they now understand my issue. We took a look at my migrated client QB files to my new server that were upgrade to 2021 before this new requirement went into play. Here is the scoop.... The Client must be the primary whether they go into the client file or not. Reason is that intuit login is used for merch accts and any other intregrated softwares.

So although I own the softwares and my clients are leasing a seat, and I own the payroll software, I must be a secondary Admin and can perform all functions the primary has.

I also found out why this new requirement has been put into place. Some client gain their PPP funding thru QB Capitol and they did not have a merch acct so they did not have an intuit login. This login is required to forgive the PPP loan thru QB's Capitol.  

I did express the security breach for those of us that already have secured systems and AWS server platforms. They did say they are hearing a lot of negativity from PAPs and are taking this into account so we may see this requirement change a bit in a future update.

But for now, we need to comply when generating a new file. I can say none of my migrated clients are in the mode of having to login every 7 days, they are automatically logged in when we go into the file for the purpose of downloading or syncing up the QB pmts received into the QB file. 

This is not changing us to online services. Nor are they making a cpy of our files and lacing them onto their servers. It is for the services such as merch accts, Corrigo (Intuit Field Service mgmt) and other integrated services we use and sync using web services.  I.

I was told they will work on a setting so that you do not have to re-login every 7 days, and put back in place the stay online button. I was also told there will soon be a button for those that do not use any outside services to shut this off. But keep in mind, if you wish to gain funding for your or your client's biz growth, an account will be needed to gain this.
