No, the client specifically did not remove the restrictions or work in a backup or alternate copy. This has happened 3 times this year so far. The first time, I thought - well, she removed the restrictions to work on something and I didn't say anything. The second time, I specifically said - "Please be sure not to remove the restrictions, as this is now the third time I'm having to do this work."  The third time, she specifically said she was very careful not to remove the restrictions - it is several steps, and not something that can be "accidentally" done.  She assures me that she did not do it, but suddenly the "Accountant Changes Pending" is gone from the top of the screen. I was hoping there would be a quick and easy fix without spending hours on the phone with Quickbooks support.
