Buy nowOnce again, you folks at Intuit are purposefully not responding to the real issue that users, many, many users of the desktop software are complaining about. I can think of no other desktop software product that requires a user to regularly log into the providers system, using the software, for any reason. Throughout this thread I've ready dozens of explanations offered by the Quickbooks team about why they require users of the product to regularly use the product to log into Intuit's systems. It's required to conform to the law, it's necessary for your security, we have your back, blah, blah, blah. All nonsense. Quickbooks is requiring this for reasons purely of interest to Quickbooks, not the user. As many have said, we don't want, or need, any of what you claim to be offering through these required logins. If the software was secure and suitable for the purpose it was marketed for at the time of sale, fine. Then leave us alone. If it was not secure without your constant oversight, or somehow doesn't conform to the law, well, then tell us that. A great many of us have clearly stated that we do not want to be required to log into your site from the software, and we don't want to have to perform some work around every 7 days to avoid doing so. Stop serving up platitudes about how much you are just trying to help. Remove this annoying requirement! If I could think of any simpler way of saying it I definitely would but I do not think that you, the Quickbooks team, are really that thick headed that you are really not understanding the message. You have not responded because it doesn't serve your purpose, whatever that is.
