CYBER MONDAY SALE 70% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months* Ends 12/5
Buy nowHi @Anonymous
The changes we made permanently fixed the issue for us, just checked the drives where they are stored locally on the server.
I looked at Task Scheduler & the Last Run Result on our server is 0x2 as well... but we're getting 400MB QBB files.
Some ideas to try. After changing the settings, adjust the Task Scheduler to run the backup a couple minutes in the future (Triggers tab)... wait & see if it works for you. If not, try the next:
1. Change the backup destination to your Windows 10 computer, not the USB hard drive. If scheduled backups save properly to your computer then we can look at possible issues with the USB drive (I'm assuming there's plenty of available space to hold a backup on this drive).
2. Try checking/unchecking the Do Not Store Password checkbox (opposite of whatever it is currently).
3. Try deleting the scheduled backup from QuickBooks (which will remove it from Task Scheduler list). Then recreate the scheduled backup from QuickBooks side... just in case any recent QB/Windows updates aren't compatible with whatever settings were in place when you originally created the scheduled backups. I think I had to do this but can't remember too well.
I'll try to think of anything else that might help, let me know how it goes.
For QB to still not have a permanent fix is disappointing, I'm here to help where I can though!
